The phrase “blurring the boundaries” does not surprise us with its figurativeness and depth any more, but this does not make it less meaningful. Yes, we also blur the boundaries, including those between online and offline participants.

Online participation has entered our life and become an excellent addition to regular education. Online participation offers a range of advantages: convenience of your personal table, your armchair, your favourite food.
However, there is also a range of disadvantages, the most important being the lack of full-fledged communication between online and offline participants.

“Remote” online participants just can’t touch the “close” ones who participate in person.

Or can they, after all?
